Tommy Scotto '27 and Kate Clemons '26 have been awarded May 2026 Student-Athletes of the Month.


KATE CLEMONS



Kate Clemons is a member of the Culver Girls Academy (CGA) track and field team.

"Kate is an athlete, leader, role model, and fierce competitor," coach Ramsey Bradke said.

During her time at Culver, she has been a four-year varsity letter winner, two-time captain, and three-time regional qualifier.

Clemons also earned the title of Sectional Champion in the pole vault in both 2024 and 2026.

Her personal-best vault is 10 feet.

"Kate has been a leader and performer on CGA track and field since her sophomore year," Bradke said. "She has set the tone for our program the last two years and can always be relied on for both performance and leadership."



TOMMY SCOTTO



Tommy Scotto is a member of the Culver Military Academy (CMA) varsity lacrosse team.

Coach Patrick Johnston said Scotto was an instrumental piece of the team's season and state championship run.

Scotto led the team with 51 goals and 84 points while also adding 33 assists. He averaged 3.4 goals per game, 2.2 assists per game, and 5.6 points per game.

"He not only led the team in goals and total points, but he led the team in grit," Johnston said.

Scotto not only helped lead his team to a state runner-up finish, but also earned Academic All-State honors, earned USA Lacrosse Academic All-America honors, and earned 2A All-Class Attack honors.

"Tommy was one of a handful of veterans on this young team," Johnston said. "He battled through adversity all year, and he showed our team what it takes to show up each and every day, no matter the circumstances."
