Culver's boys prep hockey goalies and the senior members of the girls basketball team have been named February 2026's Student-Athletes of the Month.
CGA BASKETBALL SENIORS

This month's Culver Girls Academy (CGA) honor goes to the senior class of the girls basketball team. The group includes Amelia Binkley, Piper Brumm, Kate Clemons, Nora Goldsmith, Ruby Magee, and Kenzie Miller.
Coach Bill Murchie said this senior class is the most decorated and accomplished group to ever come through the program.
The seniors accounted for more than 40 combined varsity letters, a 3.78 combined GPA, and countless leadership positions on campus.
Over their four years, the group compiled a 70–31 record, two Sectional titles, one Regional title, back-to-back 20-win seasons, and more than 1,400 combined points.
"These six amazing young women have been instrumental in developing the culture of CGA Basketball," Murchie said. "There is no doubt how big of an impact they made in building this program."
CMA PREP HOCKEY GOALIES

Cale Ackerman '27 and Jack Greenwell '26 are goalies on the Culver Military Academy (CMA) Prep hockey team.
Coach Kevin Patrick said Ackerman and Greenwell have pushed each other to be their best all season.
"They have a strong bond and are very supportive of each other," Patrick said. "They are great teammates who fulfill their role no matter what they are asked to do on a given day."
In February, the two went a combined 10–1, backstopping the team to a Mid-Am Championship.
They finished with a combined .933 save percentage and a 1.689 goals-against average.
"The forwards and defensemen know that no matter who gets the start, they give us a chance to win every game," Patrick said. "Both Jack and Cale will be very important to the success of our team at the USA Hockey National Championships in Las Vegas at the end of March."
Congratulations to our February 2026 Student-Athletes of the Month!
