Tiffany Kyser ‘99 honored at Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame's 22nd Class Women's Awards Banquet

Tiffany Kyser '99 is one of 18 women to have been named to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame's 2024 Silver Anniversary Team, based on outstanding accomplishments as a senior basketball player 25 years ago.

Kyser was honored for her award on Saturday, April 27, at the Primo Banquet Hall in Indianapolis.

The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame was established in 1962. Its purpose is to honor those high school basketball players and coaches who have gained fame on the hardwoods of Indiana and in subsequent years have reflected honor upon themselves.

Kyser totaled 1,256 career points and collected several awards during her time at Culver Academies, including the 1999 Hoosier Basketball Magazine Top 40 Senior Workout alternate, CGA's 1999 Outstanding Sportswoman of the Year, 1998 AP Honorable Mention All-State, 1997 All-Regional, four-time All-Sectional and four-time team MVP.

She won three letters in volleyball and four letters in track & field and was a state finalist in the high jump, 100 hurdles and the 4×400. She also served as a CGA Council Secretary, a CGA Senior Prefect and a Dorm Chair.

Kyser was inducted into Culver Academies Athletic Hall of Fame in 2013.

Kyser continued her basketball career at IUPUI and was named the 2003 NCAA Indiana Woman of the Year and a finalist for the NCAA National Woman of the Year. She was inducted into the IUPUI Athletics Hall of Fame in 2008 and is the only women's basketball player at IUPUI to have her jersey retired.
