Both the boys' and girls' soccer teams secured sectional championship titles on Oct. 12.

CGA defeated Plymouth 2-1, with both goals scored by Shafeek-Horton. This marks their first sectional championship win since 2020.

Later that evening, CMA secured their title with a 3-1 victory over NorthWood. Goals were scored by Tamon, Pablos, and Salinas, marking their first sectional championship win since 2022.

The girls will play in the regional semifinals on Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m. at Hanover Central. The boys will play in the regional semifinals on Thursday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. on their home turf against Illiana Christian.
