The Indiana Soccer Coaches Association (ISCA) and the Northern Indiana Soccer Conference (NISC) have announced their end of season honorees. A total of 11 from CMA Soccer were recognized.
The Indiana Soccer Coaches Association's Academic All State is awarded to those players who maintain a GPA of 3.77 or better. Six CMA program members earned this designation. Those players are:
Dillon Elam,
Jacob Graham,
Griffin Martinez,
Francisco Septien,
Keegan Divens, and
John Vojcanin. Additionally, the ISCA awarded
Jacob Graham its Top Team Player designation from the CMA squad.
In NISC play, CMA finished 4-1 overall, losing to nearby rival Argos 2-3. Septien,
William Graham, and
Jed Lee (pictured above) were all named to the NISC's First Team All Conference, while
Evan Bowser,
Patricio Quintanilla Giordano, and
Leo Brummell were all tapped Second Team All Conference.
On the year, Lee tallied a team-leading 8 goals, Brummell tallied 5 goals and 3 assists, and Graham contributed a team-leading 5 assists.
CMA Soccer concluded its 2020 campaign with an overall record of 5-11, often matching up against some of the top teams within each of the IHSAA classes, and fresh off of 2019 in which the team said goobyes to a total of 17 seniors. In 2021, many of the program's top producers will return, including a talented young goalie in
John Quigg.
