2024-25 End of Year Recap and Awards

As the 2024-25 academic year has come to a close at Culver Academies, our focus of character, citizenship, and leadership continues to resonate throughout our athletic programs. This season has been marked by outstanding achievements across our sports teams, with several notable accomplishments.

Additional Accomplishments

CGA Hockey went undefeated in District Playoffs to become the 2025 MidAm District Champions.

CMA Prep, CGA Prep, and CMA Varsity A Hockey advanced to Nationals, with CMA Prep advancing to the final four.

The CGA Fencing team placed first at the the Great Lakes High School Fencing Conference Team Championships.

Reid Seddelmeyer became CGA Basketball's All-Time Career Leader in Wins.

Culver Dressage competed in the Interscholastic Equestrian Association Dressage National Championships.

CGA Wrestling completed its first season competing as an IHSAA-recognized sport.

Brit Crockett '25 and Caroline Alderfer '25 were awarded the Andrew Stern Scholarship.

The Senior Girls Lightweight 4+ boat claimed the title of National Champions at the Scholastic Rowing Association of America National Championship Regatta.

Foster Stockton '25 was named an Indiana All-Star by the Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association.

The CMA Prep Lacrosse team claimed the title of 2025 Midwest Scholastic Lacrosse Association Champions.

Tay Rodriguez '25 was named the MSLA Player of the Year.

CMA Varsity Lacrosse coach Patrick Johnston was named IHSLA Coach of the Year.




College Commitments

Additionally, we also recognized 38 student-athletes for their decision to continue their athletic career at the collegiate level, 20 in the fall and 18 in the spring.

End of Year Awards
 

Outstanding Sportswoman of the Year

The outstanding Sportswoman of the year award was presented by the CGA Class of 1972.  This award goes to the student of CGA that displays outstanding participation, spirit and enthusiasm in sports.

  • Helped lead her soccer team to a sectional championship

  • Swim and Dive state qualifier

 

The Oliver Award

Russ and Myra Oliver Best All-Around Athlete award, which is presented to the CMA first classman who best represents the ideals of Russ and Myra Oliver.
