Coach Christiansen took the helm of CMA Baseball in 2009, and since has amassed a cumulative career record of 128-105. Prior to Culver, he spent the previous six years between Carmel High School and NorthWood High School, where he taught in the English departments, and held a role as assistant coach for both the baseball and football programs. Currently, he teaches AP US Government and AP Comparative Government.
Before graduating in 1997, Christiansen was a three-sport athlete (football, basketball, and baseball) at Center Grove High School in Greenwood, IN. He completed both his BS (2001) and MS (2006) degrees at Indiana University, and in 2015 completed his MEd from Columbia University.
Christiansen has contributed to the development of CMA players that have furthered their baseball careers at Duke University, Wabash College, University of Chicago, Columbia University, Denison University, Grinnell College, Cypress College, and others. Under his guidance, the CMA Baseball program has produced one North All-Star (Hayden Schott ’18), and numerous Academic All-State recipients, including every senior from the ’17 and ’18 seasons. He currently holds active memberships with the Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association and the American Baseball Coaches Association.
He and his wife Pamela reside in Plymouth, IN with their three children, Jack, Sarah, and Joseph.
