Brandon Davenport

Coach Davenport graduated from University of Detroit Mercy in 2013 with duel degrees in Mathematics and Education with minors in Leadership and Political Science. While attending Detroit Mercy, he took face-offs for the men's lacrosse team for four years, winning a MAAC Championship his senior year. Following graduation, Davenport played professionally for three years for the Ohio Machine, winning a MLL Championship in 2017.

He began coaching locally in Detroit, MI his freshman year of high school and has continued to coach summer travel teams ever since (GP Select, 313 Lacrosse). He has also coached at the high school level for Grosse Point North, Grosse Point South, and Detroit Country Day, during which he helped lead Grosse Point South to a conference championship, as well as making State-Semifinal and State-Quarterfinal appearances while on staff at Detroit Country Day. He joined the Culver Military Academy Prep Lacrosse staff in the spring of 2019, and works closely with the team's face-off specialists and wing players. During his first season, the production of the face-off units helped carry the team to an overall record of 20-1 and a National Championship.

Coach Davenport is an employee benefits salesman at Mutual of Omaha, and appreciates all of the support his parents and brother have provided him throughout his life. During his free time he enjoys playing hockey, golfing, and spending time with his dog, Francis.
