Coach Thompson (CMA '14) graduated from Princeton University with a degree in Psychology where he was a four-year member and senior captain on the men’s lacrosse team.
While a student at Culver Academies, Thompson started all four years on the Prep Lacrosse team, and helped elevate the program to the national ranks. Additionally, he was a senior captain of the undefeated 2014 team. During his playing career at Princeton, he became the 36th player in program history to reach 100 career points and became one of only three players with three overtime-winning points in his career.
Following graduation from Princeton, Coach Thompson returned to Culver as a leadership fellow in 2018 and began his coaching career as the offensive coordinator for the Boys Prep Lacrosse team. In his first season, he helped the CMA Prep Lacrosse team to a National Championship.
In addition to his coaching responsibilities, he teaches Intro to Psychology and Living, Learning, Leading. He lives in the barracks, where he assists with Student Life duties.
