PJ Kennedy '28 and Addi Novy '26 have been awarded April 2026 Student-Athletes of the Month.
ADDI NOVY
Addi Novy is a member of the Culver Girls Academy (CGA) varsity lacrosse team.
"Addi has been a driving force behind our offense this season, stepping up as a senior midfielder and delivering in big moments," coach Moira Kelley said.
Through 13 games, Novy tallied 28 goals and 30 total points while maintaining the second-highest shooting percentage on the team.
Kelley said one of Novy's standout performances came against the top-ranked team in the state, Zionsville. "Addi scored five goals and kept us within striking distance all game, ultimately finishing in a one-goal battle."
"Her toughness, field awareness, and ability to execute in stressful moments are a huge reason why we've been so successful this season," Kelley said.
Beyond lacrosse, Novy's commitment to excellence is evident as a member of the CGA prep hockey program, balancing two demanding sports at a high level. She is committed to continuing her hockey career at The University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire.
PJ KENNEDY
PJ Kennedy is a member of the Culver Military Academy (CMA) prep lacrosse team.
Kennedy led the team offensively throughout the month of April, including wins over ranked opponents Delbarton, The Hill Academy, and Western Reserve Academy.
In seven games during April, Kennedy tallied 19 goals and 10 assists while averaging more than four points per game.
Coach Keith Euker said Kennedy's role grew significantly as the year progressed and as he became more comfortable with the team's offensive system.
"Beyond his natural dodging & scoring abilities, he excels in his mentality on the field," Euker said. "His confident, calm demeanor allows him to compete at a high level without getting distracted or rattled. He has a very high lacrosse IQ, which allows him to place himself in threatening areas when the ball is not in his stick. He is truly a complete lacrosse player."
